 Sara Mann founded Sara Mann Interior Design (SMID) on a simple premise: exceptional spaces demand both artistic conviction and disciplined execution. Having refined her craft within some of the industry's most respected firms, she has spent over fifteen years shaping environments across international hospitality developments, high-rise residential towers, corporate interiors, and private aviation, each project sharpening her instinct for what makes a space truly work.

What distinguishes Sara's approach is the dual lens she brings to every commission. She thinks like a designer, curating concepts, materials, and finishes with an editor's eye, while operating like a project manager, fluent in CCDC 2 contract administration, budget stewardship, procurement strategy, and site-level construction oversight. This rare command of both disciplines has earned her the trust of property management companies overseeing luxury high-rises and high-end rental portfolios, where design decisions must hold up under real budgets, real timelines, and real stakeholder scrutiny. It is this same standard of precision and accountability that Sara now brings to the hospitality sector, ready to partner with hotel management companies seeking a designer who understands both the art and the operations of a space.

 Sara Mann's design foundation was forged under the mentorship of world-renowned interior designer Andres Escobar, working alongside elite, best-in-class architects, senior designers and senior project managers at Andres Escobar & Associates (now Lemay | id). Her command of large-scale project coordination distinguished her early on, establishing her as a trusted, integral member of the firm across a diverse portfolio of luxury hospitality, high-rise residential, restaurant and workspace developments.

Her responsibilities extended far beyond design support. Sara worked in direct partnership with hotel management companies, developers, and private clients. Coordinating trades, suppliers and vendors, guiding marketing initiatives, and representing project interests at the executive table. This depth of experience encompassed concept development, FF&E, research and specification, materials and finishes selection, and design documentation support for ground-up hotels, resorts and condominium towers across international markets, including Story Seychelles, Courtyard by Marriott, and Holiday Inn Brooklyn.

Complemented by private aviation interior design experience at Bombardier Aerospace, this cross-sector foundation instilled the discipline, precision and executive fluency that define SMID today. A practice built to serve hotel management companies, luxury hospitality brands, developers, design-build partners, and private residential clients alike with the same rigor and trust earned on every project table.
